French Cine Hub is an initiative to use French films as a powerful medium to enhance your association with the French language, culture, history and ethos of the country.
These movies have been carefully selected as they contain hidden gems in them that are unearthed to the viewer through our pre-screening narration.
French Cine Hub is made possible through the association of IF Cinéma (Institut Français) that offers a wide selection of films available via streaming or downloading in compliance with their terms and through Indo French Hub that arranges for the AV equipment, venue and most importantly the resource person to deliver the communiqué to the audience.

Bijal MENONFrench Teacher & Founder, Indo French HubEnseignante de français depuis plus de 18 ans et titulaire de DALF C1, j’ai fondé Indo French Hub (indofrenchhub.com), un organisme qui travaille pour la promotion de la langue et la culture françaises en Inde. Je suis issue d’une formation en sciences de l’éducation Master of Education, en philologie (Bachelor of French Studies) et Master of Arts (French). Je suis aussi titulaire d’une licence et d’un master en commerce. Lors de mon parcours universitaire, j’ai fait des formations courtes et des ateliers à l’Alliance Française de Bombay, à l’Université Stendhal de Grenoble, l’Université de Strasbourg. J’ai dispensé des cours de français à plus de 3000 collégiens et lycéens dans le cadre du soutien scolaire et j’envisage de former plus d’apprenants au Français Langue Étrangère dans les années à venir. J’ai également travaillé dans différents établissements publics d’enseignement et actuellement m’occupe de la gestion d’Indo French Hub. J’organise des échanges scolaires, les séjours linguistiques pour les étudiants et les professeurs de FLE, les cours de français en ligne, French Cine Hub et les ateliers pédagogiques.

Marion TROTTÉJe suis professeur de français langue étrangère, diplômée d’un DAEFLE et d’un Master en Techniques du CinémaS’il y a une chose que vous devez savoir sur moi, c’est que j’adore le cinéma, et la culture en général, j’ai d’ailleurs moi-même travaillé dans l’industrie cinématographique. C’est pour cette raison que j’ai décidé de créer Clap Français, pour enseigner le français en utilisant le cinéma comme ressource principale. Mon approche est efficace, elle se base sur la méthode active, et mes étudiants l’adorent ! Je parle moi-même 3 langues couramment (français, anglais et portugais) et j’aime apprendre de nouvelles langues pour mettre mes techniques d’apprentissage au service de mes étudiants.

I am presently a French Language translator, interpreter and language trainer as well as a Technical writer and Content writer/reviewer in English with a renowned IT-based MNC in the last 8.5 years. My passions have always resided in Music and Teaching, and it was only a matter of exploring one as a profession while the other would keep my soul alive. The choice became obvious when I pursued my B.A French at Elphinstone College, Mumbai, and M.A French at Bombay University’s Kalina campus. I was going to teach French, and so did my B.Ed through St. Teresa’s Institute of Education, Santa Cruz, before I landed my first job at R.A.Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Matunga, where I taught for 5 years before moving to Bangalore.
In Bangalore I taught both – Junior and Degree college French and Headed the Department of French for 7 of the 8.5 years that I taught at Mount Carmel College Autonomous. As HOD, I curated and initiated an undergraduate course in French, making it the only college in Karnataka to offer a B.A with French as one of the Ancillary subjects. This course ran for 5 batches (until I moved out).
Through the years, I was also a Guest Faculty at Bangalore University for 10 years for the Regular Masters in French program, teaching papers in Translation, Theory of Grammar and Literature (17th through 20th Century).
With a teaching and training experience of 22.5 years, I now head the Trainings Initiative for Foreign Languages in our Language Team, but at the same time writing has been a constant love, explored even more now, with me heading our English Newsletter for my organization’s Language Team across India.

Screening French movies is an innovative way to expose your students to the language. They get a deeper appreciation of the art as we help them to discover insights about the film. The experience of watching the film has many benefits - hearing the spoken language and imbibing aspects of the french culture, food, places and their rich history.

jamal mohamed college is a landmark in trichy, french is taught here since 1951.it is the only affliated french department in the bharathidasan university area.we have regularly french tourists visiting our college
